Film review of Leprechaun 2

This is not truly a sequel to the first "Leprechaun"; rather, it's a "Nightmare on Elm Street" rip-off, since the main character seems to possess magical abilities considerably superior to those he possessed in the previous film. It's a nastier and bloodier picture, but at the same time it's much more obtuse; there are certain scenes that are obscenely dumb (particularly the two "red herrings", which may make you stop watching it right then and there). Overall, even haters of poor films may Leprechaun horror movie find this one difficult.
